Preparation before general pest control
Outdoor:
- Remove all items that are not supposed to be sprayed e.g. clothes on the line, shoes, sandals, kid toys, pet’s water/food bowl, food related items.
- Cover up veggie patch with plastic or move them indoor if possible. Cover the edible parts only. If edible parts got sprayed, they are not edible for 6 months.
- Arrange for pets to be away during the treatment and also 2 hours after that. So roughly about 4 hours.
- Fish pond have to be covered with plastic.
- Grass should be cut short.
- Swimming pool need to be covered as well.
- Notify your neighbour about the treatment time so they can also remove items no 1 and 3 from outdoor area.
- If your neighbour has veggie patch near the fence, please notify us. In this situation we won’t be able to spray the fence area.
- If the treatment is outdoor only but including subfloor and roof hole spray, please ensure clear access to the roof hole.
Indoor:
- Tidy up and vacuum & mop as you should not mop for 1 week after the treatment.
- Ensure clear access to the manhole to roof cavity.
- Close all windows but open all curtains/shutters if possible.
- Move things away from the wall but don’t worry too much about heavy items.
- Keep all food/drink items inside the cabinet if possible.
- Keep toothbrushes inside the cabinet.
- Towels should be removed from the hanger.
- Leave the property for 4 hours (from the start of the treatment).
After general pest control
- Make sure floor area/outdoor area is dry before reentering to property.
- Do not mop for one week.
- Do not clean windows for 2 weeks.
- If you need to mop, do spot mopping instead.
- It is normal to see more pest activity for 2 weeks because they have to get out of their hiding places.
Preparation before Termite Inspection

Tidy up all indoor rooms and also outdoor areas to ensure easy access for inspection

Ensure clear access to the manhole to roof cavity and manhole to subfloor.

Ensure the whole perimeter of the house is accessible: cleared from rubbish, tall grass and weed.

Move things away from the wall whenever possible but don’t worry too much about heavy items.

Please note that the duration of the inspection will be around 1.5-2 hours depending on your property. Termite inspection report will be sent to you in 1-2 business days.
Preparation before End of lease treatment
- Property is empty
- End of lease cleaning should already be completed
- Ensure access to property (i.e. keys are ready in the property when our technician arrives. If the technician need to get the keys from the property agent, additional charge of $50 will apply)
